For those that know Ady, you will not be surprised to find that the trip is planned like a military operation !!! I have to be at my front door at " 23 hundred hours " for full inspection !!!! So we have a plan ( I hope Jackie you are taking note for your trip !!! ), so here we go....
We are leaving tonight, with a very full car and spending several hours on our wonderful motorway network, and travelling through the night for 9 hours to our house in France. Our house is in a small village called La Baume, near Morzine and about an hours drive from Geneva. We have split the driving fairly - I am doing the 4 hours UK and Ady doing the 9 hours in France !!!
We are staying at our house until Wednesday when we travel to Tuscany - this is probably when the fun will start !! We have booked a small apartment in the grounds of a 15th century house run by young Italian family. I have no idea what it will be like, and have booked direct with the owner, so anything could happen. ( based on my past experience of hotels - I am likely to be in trouble !! ). While in Tuscancy we are going to Pisa and Florence, but if anyone has been to this region and has any suggestions let us know.... it can be an interactive travel plan !!!!!
Sunday we will leave Tuscany and travel to Rome, from Rome to Venice and then onto Lake Como. While at Lake Como we plan a trip to Milan.... well thats the " Pasta " part of the trip complete and back onto the " Frogs Legs "
The " Frogs Legs " part is easy we are staying in the South of France .... ( Lockers don't forget to send me good places to visit ), so we will do Nice, Cannes, St Tropez etc etc. We also hope to meet up with our Friends Claire & Pete and may even see Mel at some point ( Mel - will be in touch ), then back to our house again and finally back to the UK.
Well thats the plan anyway ..... Lets see what happens !!!
